Keto chaffles! They’re everywhere! From Reddit to Facebook and everywhere in between, people are talking about chaffles!

If you’re interested in making some chaffles yourself, I have all the info you need, plus 5+ amazing chaffle recipes from around the web right here.

What the heck is a chaffle?

Fair question. A chaffle is a keto waffle.

A basic chaffle is usually made out of a combination of cheese and eggs, which means it’s the perfect keto-friendly snack.

How to Make Basic Chaffles

To make chaffles you’re going to need a few things:

Waffle Maker

The first thing you will need is a waffle maker of some kind – I highly recommend the Dash mini waffle maker, since the basic chaffle recipe makes two mini waffles.

Cooking Spray

The next thing you’ll need is some non-stick cooking spray – you don’t want your chaffle sticking to the waffle maker!

I really like this Crisco cooking spray.

Basic Chaffle Recipe

To make the basic chaffle recipe, you’re going to need just two ingredients: 1 egg, and 1/2 cup of shredded cheese.

You can use almost any type of cheese that you want, I highly recommend mozzarella and cheddar.

Basic Chaffle Variations

Once you’ve mastered the basic chaffle, you can kick it up a notch by trying some of these variations:

  • Different cheese – Try different cheeses when making chaffles! You can even combine two cheeses together.
  • Spices – You can try out different spices and seasoning blends when making your chaffles. I personally use the garlic & herb seasoning from Mrs. Dash.
  • Sweetener – If you have a sweet tooth, try adding some keto-friendly sweetener to your chaffles!
